MacRumors provides the following breakdown:

- $75 gift card with the purchase of an iPhone 5s (starting at $189) 
- $75 gift card with the purchase of an iPhone 5c (starting at $45) 
- $100 gift card with the purchase of a 16 GB iPad mini ($299) 

You may have seen a report from App Advice about a Walmart, Black Friday deal and the iPad Air. I have investigated the Black Friday deals for Walmart, and must conclude that, without further confirmation, App Advice is wrong. I see no evidence of any deal involving the iPad Air, especially one with the discount they suggest. It is also important to note that the offer on the mini is specifically for the old mini. It does not seem to apply to the Retina mini. $299 is the regular price for the old mini. It is not a discount.

That said, Walmart is offering generous discounts in the form of gift cards that can be used for anything in the store. If you are shopping at Walmart anyways, $75 is a nice bit of cash back for picking up an iPhone. Also, Walmart is starting their Black Friday sale a bit early. Try 6:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving. It is not quite as straightforward as you might hope. It appears that not all items will be going on sale early, reserved only for Friday, while others will be on sale throughout the weekend, starting Thrursday. You will have to read the fine print, and check with your local store.
