If you haven't opened your 12 Days of Gifts app from Apple lately, today would be a good day to do so. Today's free gift is the movie, Hugo. If you haven't seen it, you're in for a treat. 

Hugo is no 99¢, bargain-bin pic. It is an Oscar winning, Martin Scorsese film with a 94% Rotten Tomatoes score. That means that it is loved by both the Academy, and humans. Apple is giving away plenty of the good stuff, including top-rated games and music. For my money, or lack thereof, this one is the pick of the litter so far, and it is just the fifth day.
