The Verge - Aaron Souppouris Ad leak suggests T-Mobile will pay for customers to switch to its service

How much do you hate AT&T? How much would you pay to get out of your contract, and leave AT&T in the dustbin of half forgotten, bad dreams? Are those crazy fees all that is keeping you in that deal with the devil? Well have I got news for you. T-Mobile wants your business so much, they are willing to pay all those pesky fees for you, and welcome you into the magenta moonlight.

I don't have all the details. T-Mobile will be making an announcement later today. There is a good chance I will follow up. Expect there to be many caveats to this offer. You will have to trade in your current device for one from T-Mobile. They do have all of the current iPhones. If you are stuck with a Space Grey model, this might be a perfect opportunity to get the Gold one you really wanted. Yes, I'm talking about me.

This deal will cover Family Plans, though I'm certain you will need a calculator to be sure you are getting a good deal. T-Mobile has the most generous upgrade program which might prove to be a very compelling reason to switch. The thing you will need to do is research T-Mobile coverage in your area. It is all about coverage and speed. It doesn't matter how good the deal is, if you can't get coverage in the places you need it, or the data speeds just don't work for you, then it is not a good deal. Verizon has the best coverage in general, AT&T has the fastest speeds. Sprint... well... Anyways, do your homework before jumping on the T-Mobile bandwagon. I, for one, will take a long, hard look at this deal.
